This coming Sunday, the Apicha CHC team will be walking in the AIDS Walk New York. This event has been happening for 30 years bringing hundreds of thousands of people together to raise awareness and inspire community.

Our Commitment

Founded in 1989 to address unmet HIV/AIDS-related needs of Asians and Pacific Islanders in New York City, Apicha CHC is deeply entwined in the history of HIV/AIDS activism in and around New York City. Since our founding, we continue to provide quality health care to underserved and othered individuals in NYC.

With different programs, like our LGBTQ+ inclusive care, our Transgender Healthcare Clinic, serving homeless and housing-insecure people, we have stood by our promise to respect and value all people. We believe that every person should have access to quality health care and feel comfortable and safe when receiving care.

Participating in events like the AIDS Walk New York means a lot to Apicha CHC. We do it every year, giving our staff and patients the opportunity to walk together in the continued fight against HIV/AIDS. Apicha CHC is committed to standing with Governor Cuomo in ending the HIV epidemic in NYC by 2020. It's events like this that give NYC the space to come together, raise awareness and funds to continue research, support organizations and continuing to provide care and services to our communities.
