A medical professional with extensive experience serving LGBTQ+ patients and people living with HIV infection, Susanne Rendeiro, FNP provides primary care for the patients at APICHA. Her previous work experiences include serving as Family Nurse Practitioner/Clinical Manager for HIV Primary Care Services at Greenwich House and as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Betances Health Center. She holds a Masters of Science in Nursing from Pace University-Family Nurse Practitioner Program and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Rutgers University, College of Nursing. In July 2019, Susanne received a promotion to become Apicha’s Associate Director of Medicine. Her approach to taking care of her patients involves providing education about their medical care so they can take better care of themselves. She also provides constant support for her patients so they can have the best health possible.
