Apicha Community Health Center proudly announces its approval of accreditation status for specialty pharmacy services from the Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC).
This achievement demonstrates the commitment of Apicha CHC to best practices, the highest industry standards of care, and dedication to continuous improvement. ACHC accreditation signifies Apicha Community Health Center’s focus on providing exceptional specialty care therapies and resources to manage complex disease states.
“This establishes our commitment to provide best in class service to the patients of Apicha Community Health Center,” said Ben Kelly, Maxor National Pharmacy Services vice president of operations. “ACHC accreditation sets us apart from other pharmacies and positions us well to stay ahead of industry changes.”
Achieving accreditation is a process where healthcare organizations demonstrate compliance with national standards. Accreditation by ACHC reflects an organization’s dedication and commitment to meeting standards that facilitate a higher level of performance and patient care. ACHC is a not-for-profit organization that has stood as a symbol of quality and excellence since 1986.
“This was no small task,” said Kelly. “It involved a number of modifications that included participation from our on-site pharmacy staff, as well as a number of resources including, IT, compliance, HR, finance, and a dedicated project manager to navigate through all of the requirements.”
