About Us
At Apicha Community Health Center, our mission is to provide high quality, equitable, whole person, and culturally responsive care delivered in an inclusive and welcoming manner. We aim to build and expand on our long tradition of care for AAPI, LGBTQ+, and persons living with HIV.
The History of Apicha
Apicha Community Health Center was founded in 1989 to address unmet HIV/AIDs-related needs, and to advocate for government and private funding streams to build a continuum of care for HIV/AIDS services, starting with prevention education and outreach of HIV primary care.
Since then, Apicha continuously transformed to meet the needs of the communities it serves. In 2015, Apicha became a federally qualified health center further expanding access to high quality health care services for all that come through our doors.
